Zidane Rumors...

Well it was quiet for about a week until a Mr. Zidane is back in the rumor mills. Chicago was the first target, but the rumor was shot down by coach Dave Sarachan. Now the new rumor is that our Red Bulls are pursuing the Frenchman. He reportedly will not talk to any team that will give him less than 15 million per year. That makes NY a good candidate because of their deep pockets. Now if you are asking yourself how the Red Bulls will fit another $400,000 into there salary cap, you must remember that Conway is close to being traded. Since last season, Jon has earned some trade value. What does this mean? He and possibly another player (maybe a Dema Kovalenko) can be traded to Toronto for some allocation money as well as easing up some room in the cap. Again these are all just speculations and must be taken with a grain of salt. I must say one thing though, Bruce Arena should work for the CIA because he is doing a fine job in keeping everything top secret during this off season.
